Me and Sarah

So we flew down to see Sarah (and Uncle Chris and Aunt Lori) this weekend - just a quick trip. Sarah is so much bigger than the last time I saw her - she's much more fun to play with. We went to the doggy beach -where all the dogs were allowed to roam free.

I played in the sand and watched Murphy and Riley, who seemed to have a lot of fun running around with some friends. I sure do love doggies!

Sarah and I had a bunch of fun riding in the car together.

Mom and Dad got cupcakes from this place called "Sprinkles." Mom says that they're really good!

Sarah fell asleep at her high chair, she must have been exhausted from all the fun! I feel so old - I cant remember the last time I fell asleep while eating - it had to be six months ago at least!

My Friend Lily

We had a fun weekend, in town thankfully! Friday night we went out to dinner, had some good pub food. (Daddy really likes pub food!) Saturday we hung out at home in the morning and then went to my friend Lily's birthday party! Lily is my best friend at school, she's great. It was a princess party, check out the princess buffet:


Complete with Ariel's goldfish and snow white's apples! I really enjoyed the goldfish, those are my favorite. They had tiara's for us princesses too! Here are Lily & I:

I had a lot of fun hanging out with Lily, she is a blast! We gave each other hugs and played in the bounce house. It was a great party!

After the party I went over to Miss Lorraine's house to hang out with her for the evening. Mommy & Daddy went out with Aunty Kat, Uncle Jim, and Aunty Ginny. I stayed up super late and had a great night with Miss Lorraine!

Sunday we had a nice lazy day around the house, just playing and relaxing. This weekend we are headed down to see Sarah, Aunt Lori, and Uncle Chris! I can't wait! I heard there are cupcakes involved...

Beach Camping

We had a fabulous weekend! We met Kristopher & Ella and Alyssa & Amanda at Dillon Beach to camp for the weekend. We got out there just in time for dinner and s'mores. Joy & Sam came out later, I was ready for bed by the time they arrived!

Saturday morning we got up and had some breakfast, then went for a walk on the beach! I rode in a backpack on Mommy's back, and just couldn't stay awake. When I woke up we played in the sand and found some crabs! Check them out:

The water was pretty cold, so we didn't go in. We just got good and dirty in the sand!

Afterwards we went back to the campsite to play. I found this really cool necklace to wear. I even tried to put it on Harley boy, but it looked better on a girl:)

The parents all played some bocce ball, cooked some food. Marie & Olivier joined us at the campsite! Then it was time for the shrimp boil, yum!

The campsite didn't have electricity, so that meant no drive-in-walk-up movie theater. But Marie did bring her dvd player, so we were able to watch a flick. We had s'mores, hung by the fire. By then I was ready for bed...

Sunday we had some chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, thanks Beepers! We took another walk to the beach. I took another nap in the backpack. Everyone else played in the water, and got all wet! On the way back, everyone rolled down the sand dune and got covered in sand! After a quick rinse at the trailer, we packed up and headed out for lunch. We went to get some lunch and then headed home.

We spent the rest of the day relaxing. Camping is so fun but so exhausting!

Back to school Monday morning. Today we had cupcakes to celebrate my friend Lily's first birthday. This weekend I'm going to her birthday party. I can't wait!

Change of Plans...

So we had to change our plans this weekend. We were supposed to go to see Aunt Sher-bear this weekend and see the balloon races, but Daddy's work got totally busy this week. Mommy and I were able to tear him away to visit our cousin who was in town - Sindy from Atlanta! Daddy said she is my third cousin twice removed or something like that. Here is a picture of us:

She was in town visiting her boyfriend, Ed. His family throws a big party each year up in Sonoma, so Cousin Sindy invited us! It was great! There were pony rides...

They had this big pond with really colorful fish (one of my many new words!):

And a live band, lots of good dancing!

The house was really pretty, lots of flowers and some doggies running around. (I know what the doggie says - woof! And the cow, and the lion...)

There was a big pool with a slide and a diving board. Daddy and I went for a dip because it was very hot out! They even had a casino set up! Here's a picture of me and Daddy playing poker...

The party was great, and it was good to see Cousin Sindy again! It was a nice escape for the day...

Big Camping Weekend!

Man, was that a fun weekend! We are sure exhausted, but it was so worth it!

It all started Friday when I played hookie and stayed home with Aunty Ginny, Abby, & Logan. When Mommy & Daddy got home from work we packed up the trucks and headed out! We got to the campsite and found that Kristopher & Ella and their parents had the whole site set up. We got our stuff all set up, had dinner, and Daddy set up our walk-up drive-in movie theater! We roasted marshmallows and went to bed to rest up for the rest of the weekend.

Saturday we had some yummy breakfast and played around the campsite. In the afternoon I took a nap with Daddy while Mommy went on a walk with Aunty Ginny, Abby, and Logan. Later Marie and Olivier joined us at the campsite! That night we had a shrimp boil for dinner! I didn't try any shrimp, but the lil' smokies in there were sure tasty! (I wasn't the only one who thought so - Aunty Kat and Uncle Stephane almost fought over one!) We roasted some more marshmallows, watched a bit of a movie, and went to bed. That was sure a long day!

Sunday we had chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, yum! We decided to take a group hike with everyone and the dogs. That was quite a hike! I was happy to ride in the backpack on Daddy's back. All of us kids ended up riding on someone's back:) It was a fun hike, but we really enjoyed the ice cream when we got back to camp! We had some more visitors after lunch, Daddy's friend James and his girlfriend Ann Marie. They hung out, the dads all played some poker, and all of the kids took naps. It felt great! We woke up in time for dinner, smores, and a movie. After all the excitement, we were all ready for bed.

I was really excited when I woke up a third morning in the trailer! I wish every weekend was three nights long! After breakfast, us kids all played while the grown ups got everything cleaned and packed up. Then we hit the road, back to school this week!
