Great Camping Trip!

What a great camping trip!  We met Kristopher, Ella, & Charlotte at New Brighton State Beach, which is down near Capitola.  There was a lot of traffic on the way, so we made the mistake of hopping off the freeway and trying to cut through downtown.  It was a super cute downtown, but thhey beat us to the campground! 

We got all set up, had dinner, roasted marshmallows.  Then it was time for bed!

Saturday morning started off with a yummy breakfast, then the moms took the doggies on a walk while we played around the camp site.  Charity, Robert, and Ben arrived and brought lunch!  After lunch it was time for a trip to the beach!

That night we had shrimp boil (well, the parents had shrimp boil!) and saw a drumming show.  Then more marshmallows, and Mommy made something called banana flambe on the fire?  I heard it was good!  Time for bed!  Sunday was breakfast, packing, and heading home!  We will definitely revisit this campground!

Wedding & Parties

This weekend was another busy one.  Friday night we went out to dinner.  Saturday morning we started off with a family run (us girls in the stroller, of course!)  After the run, we got home, cleaned up, and Mommy & Daddy headed off to Veronica & Will's wedding.  As much as we like weddings, it was nice to stay back with Aunty Ginny, Abby, & Logan.  We had a much better time going to Ava's birthday party!  Check out these cute pictures of Mommy & Daddy from the wedding:

Check out Penny's new skill!  She's crawling!  It may be closer to army crawling, but she is all over the place!  Now I have to be sure she doesn't get into the doggy food or my special toys!

Happy Birthday Ella & Pool Party

This weekend was a lot of fun!  It started off with a great birthday party for Ella!  Complete with bouncy house, water slide, and the taco ladies!  Check out Amelia, Ella, & Daddy in the bounce house...

Sunday Uncle James & Aunt Annmarie had a pool party and BBQ at their house.  We had so much fun!  I loved walking around with Aunty Annmarie and visiting with everyone.  And Amelia had a blast in the pool!

Happy 4th of July! & a Tooth!

This weekend we headed down south to the beach to celebrate the holiday! We got down there right about bed time, and went right to sleep.

In the morning guess what I found in the kitchen - a banana with my name on it! Check out the picture in the slideshow!

We had a nice day, took naps, played in the pool - a LOT! Aunty Nancy got a little pool just for us! Pretty nice to play in the pool, looking out at the ocean! We had some dinner, then headed to bed.

But the biggest event of the day was discovering Penny's first tooth! On the bottom, front left side. Whoo hoo! Now she can try eating real food!

Saturday morning we got up and had breakfast, then took a little ride along the beach (Mommy and Daddy ran, pushing us in the stroller). Then it was nap time, and afterwards, Cousin Erin and Frasier came over! Cousin Heather came too! Then their grandparents came to visit. It was a nice visit!

Sunday was the party day! We had breakfast, then went for another ride/run along the beach. This time Uncle Barry pushed us. What a blast! Then it was time for lunch, naps, and the party! More pool time, lots of yummy food. I met a new friend, Sarah. We had such a great time together! After dinner it was time for SPRINKLES!! Cousin Heather brought them! Sooo good! I enjoyed mine while watching fireworks over the ocean! Pretty perfect evening!




Daddy and Frasier went into the ocean! They said it wasn't too cold. Check out this video:

Penny is soooo close to crawling! We all spent the entire weekend trying to get her to crawl. Pretty soon though!
