Another busy weekend...

So our regular busy week ended with a busy weekend! Friday night Daddy's poker league came over. Kristopher & Ella came over too! We built a fort, I'm hiding in the fort in this picture...

Saturday Daddy left really early to go rafting with his friends from work. Mommy and I went to Abby's 3rd birthday party! We had a great time. Here is Uncle Jason and Abby with her giant cupcake!

I even considered trying a cupcake! The icing felt really cool...

Sunday we went over to Marie & Olivier's house to hang out. Kristopher and Ella came to play too! Check out the fun happening there...

Then we went and beat up on this giant blue seal that was hiding out in their bedroom...

Well, the big kids beat up on the seal. I explored this fort in the corner...

Guess what! I've got a new tooth! It's on the top, right beside my other ones. Daddy says I'm a typical girl...lately I really like to say "shoes" and help put mine on!

Happy Birthday Daddy And Our Camping Trip!

Just got back from a great weekend! It was Daddy's birthday on Friday so we headed out to meet Kristopher and Ella and go camping! We drove down to Pescadero and set up camp. We brought my wagon so Kristopher pulled Ella & I around in it a lot! We ate some dinner and had a late night. Saturday morning we had breakfast and went to go walk around downtown Pescadero. Then Abby & Logan came out and met us for the afternoon. We all hiked to the beach...

Kristopher even went in the water! Krazy Kristopher!


I rode in the backpack, which was a great ride! Here's a picture of me and Daddy...


We went back and had some ice cream, then took the doggies for a walk in the woods! But when we got back, we had a bit of a "situation" when some ticks were discovered! So there was a mad dash to get everyone searched and safe. Then we had some grilled pizzas for dinner! Ella and I went to bed, but I think everyone else stayed up and hung out by the fire. This morning we got up and had some breakfast, then just played and played in the field area by our camp site. We took another walk, and that darned comfy backpack, I fell asleep:) I woke up back at home! Mommy and Daddy snuck me into the truck and drove home. I had so much fun that I really needed that long nap...

This afternoon has just been taking it easy...time to get ready for a new week!

Well Grandma left on Monday:( She was here visiting for a few weeks, and it was sure fun hanging out with her! We played with Mr. PotatoHead...

Mommy and I surprised Daddy with a boy's trip to Vegas! He and Uncle Stephane went last night and hopefully they are having a great time! We'll find out how he did when he gets home this afternoon...

My First Week As a One-Year-Old...

So last week was my first week as a whole year old! We pretty much spent the week recovering from all that company and partying. Oh and I spent the week trying out my new toys and clothes! Here is a picture of Daddy and I playing with Mr. Potato Head (thanks Aunty Katy!)...



I had my one-year check up on Thursday. I am up to 30 1/4", 21.3 lbs, and my head is 19" around. That puts me in the 62nd, 52nd, and 100th percentiles. I got a bunch of shots, that part was not fun! Luckily Mommy and Daddy were there to make me feel better afterwards.

After we got through the week, Mommy and Daddy went "out" a couple times. I'm not sure what happened, I hung out with Grandma then went to bed. I heard something about a baseball game then I think they went and saw Beepers and Uncle Stephane. Sunday we went to see my friend Connor for dinner. His little brother or sister is coming any time now! Can't wait to meet him or her! It was a nice evening, we had a lot of fun playing.

My First Birthday Party

So I had the best birthday weekend ever! It started Thursday and it finally finished Sunday. You saw my day-of birthday celebration in my previous post. Friday Mommy, Auntie Katy, Grandma, and I hung out for the day. Then Grandpa, Uncle Eddie, and my cousin Emilie arrived overnight! Saturday morning the part preparations were in full swing. We had some breakfast and played while the preparations went on. It sure was fun to hang out! Sarah and her parents arrived Saturday morning, then came over to hang out. Kristopher and Ella came over too! We played some more, had some lunch. Grandpa took me for a walk for a while. I couldn't stay awake though, so I took a nap before the party started. Then when I woke up, we headed down to the park!

Everyone was gathered there and we celebrated! Grandpa Stan, Grandma Suzi, and Aunt Norma flew in and came to the park. Boy, it sure gives a girl a big head when lots of people come to wish her a happy birthday! It was a great time, lots of good food, laughs, even a pinata! Daddy had to help me hit it though. It took the big kids to actually crack it.

Then we had cupcakes. Can you believe Grandma brought them all the way from Florida?? I heard they tasted fantastic, but I preferred some crackers:) Everyone sang to me and I got lots of kisses! Eventually it was time to head home, it was getting cool and the sun was setting. So everyone came back to the house and helped me open all of those presents! It was the best day ever!

Sunday morning we went to breakfast with everyone, before the out-of-towners had to go to the airport. I enjoyed some of Grandpa's pancakes:) After a nap on the way back and forth from the airport, we went back to the house to hang out. (I think the grown ups took naps too.) Sunday night Auntie Chrissie and Emilie left that night, after dinner. Then it was time for bed for me! I needed some rest after that big weekend!

Now Grandma is staying for a little while, yeah! Mommy and Daddy are talking about going out on dates or something? All I know is I get to hang out with Grandma!
