Happy Holidays!

We are off for Florida tonight! I heard we are going to have a relaxing vacation, not too much planned. Yeah! I've had a tough week, so I am looking forward to a week of just hanging out! Not only have I been dealing with the tooth coming in, but I've had a fever most of the week. Yesterday was better, so I told Mommy & Daddy that I'm up for traveling.

(By the way, my Aunty Katy wore this dress when she was my age!)

I hope you all had a Happy Chanukah, and have a very merry Christmas! I'll try to post some pictures from Florida:)

Oh What Fun...

We had a busy weekend! Friday Auntie Lori came into town. We went out to dinner, then Mommy, Auntie Lori, and I hung out for the evening. (Daddy went to play poker) Saturday we threw a party for Auntie Lori and my cousin who is coming in March! It was a great time, I met a new friend! Her name is Tabitha. She is only 11 days younger than me! Here is a picture of us hanging out:

Here's a picture of Auntie Lori & Uncle Chris from the party...

After that party, Mommy & Daddy went to Daddy's firm's Christmas party. I stayed home with Uncle Chris and Auntie Lori.

Sunday we went out to Aunt Kathrin & Uncle Jim's house for brunch! It was great, there was a giant Christmas tree!! The whole tree couldn't fit in one picture!! There was so much great food, tons of presents, and lots of wrapping paper!

Here are a couple pictures of me and Olivier...

Everyone said Olivier was "mackin" on me...but I don't know what that means...he is pretty cute though!

And just for fun, here's another video of me eating! As you can see, I sure do enjoy eating.

Guess what...a tooth!

So it looks like my first tooth is coming in! I've been feeling it for a little while, and it helps when I chew on my fingers. So pretty soon I can start trying real food! This week we added applesauce and green beans to my menu choices. I overheard Mommy whisper to Daddy that the green beans smell really funny...I don't really mind how they smell, I'm just excited to try a new food!

Here is another picture from our portraits...

We had a nice weekend. Saturday night my Aunty Ginny came and stayed with me while Mommy & Daddy partied! They went to Mommy's company Christmas party. I had a good time hanging out with Aunty Ginny. This week we haven't done too much, but Daddy surprised Mommy today! Mommy was a little down because we have been too busy to hang up decorations, but Daddy snuck home today while Mommy was working and hung lights outside! I've never seen these lights before, but they sure are pretty! And it made Mommy really happy, good job Daddy!

We have a busy weekend...tomorrow my Aunty Lori is coming to visit, then Uncle Chris is coming on Saturday. Mommy & her friends are having a baby shower for Aunty Lori (my little cousin is coming in March!) Then that night Mommy & Daddy are going to Daddy's company Christmas party. Then Sunday Aunt Kathrin & Uncle Jim are having a brunch for everyone. It sounds like a great weekend!

No crawling yet...but I want to get through this tooth thing first. Maybe I'll crawl when we get to Florida next week?

Peas!

So I have tried something new--peas! They are pretty tasty! Mom & Dad said they smell funny, but they taste alright! So far, I've had rice cereal, squash, and now peas. Mom & Dad said I can start something else maybe Sunday...I hope they pick something good!

I got some pictures taken earlier this week. Here are a few of the good ones!

I also had to get shots Tuesday. They were not fun, but Daddy made me feel a lot better afterwards. Mommy said she couldn't watch, silly Mommy!

I'm still trying to figure out this crawling thing...I've got my feet moving like crazy, I'm just not sure what to do with my hands yet? So for now I like to just kick around and play:)

Holiday Train!

All aboard the fun train in Santa Cruz! It was cold, so we got all bundled up.
Almost all of my friends came along for the ride. As you can see, this train had some pretty lights on board. They also had some musicians playing Christmas Carols and plenty of hot cider (Mom and Dad seemed to enjoy it).

Oh, and I started eating more real food this week. I've had rice cereal and squash so far. My folks think my eating is super cute - so they posted the video below.
