I'm Three Months Old Today!

Head's Up!

So it's official! I now enjoy tummy time! All of the sudden, I noticed that if I look up while I'm on my tummy, I can see stuff! Like Minnie Mouse, she's really cute:) I really want to roll over, but Mommy says I should take things a baby step at a time...

Last week we went to this place where Daddy and Mommy said I'm going to hang out, called daycare. There will be three other babies there with me, one girl and two boys. I was tired, so I slept most of the time we were there. Mommy and I are going back to visit more this week.

Saturday we went over to our friends' house to celebrate Ginny's birthday! I hung out with Abigail, Logan, Marie, and Olivier. Then Marie and Olivier spent the night, and we hung out again on Sunday! I met a new friend Sunday, his name is RJ. He is two weeks older than me. (My Daddy went to law school with his daddy, John.) It was a fun time!

Something mysterious happened...

This morning when Mommy woke up, she noticed that I turned around in my crib! She and Daddy were really excited. I had a great time freaking them out! Hahahaha!

Hangin' With My Friends!

Just wanted to put up a couple pictures of me hanging out with my friends last weekend! I hung out with Abby & Logan Saturday night...

Sunday night I went over to visit Marie & Olivier. They are so fun, I can't wait until I'm big enough to play with them!

This week I discovered some new fun toys that are just my size--my toes!

My name...

So since everyone has been asking about my name, I decided to find out from Daddy & Mommy where it came from. For my first name, they said they liked this lady named Amelia Earhart. (She was a famous airplane pilot) Daddy really likes flying and airplanes, and Mommy said this pilot was a great person to be named after. Plus they said they just liked the name!

For my middle name, they followed a tradition in Mommy's family. For four generations now, the middle name is from Grandma on Mommy's side. (Mommy's middle name is her Grandma's name, just like my Grandma's, and her Mom's.)

And of course my last name came from Daddy's family, a little bit of each family! So that's how I ended up being named Amelia Linda Horwitz!

I've been eating about once a day with Daddy, which is pretty cool! I'm even starting to hold on to the bottle!

Happy Times

So we went to Mommy's company picnic last Sunday at the country club. Everyone was so nice! Mommy said that all the ladies just wanted to hold me, and all the guys wanted to know when Mommy was coming back to work. Dad went swimming and diving in the pool - he said maybe next year I could join him. He said that I couldn't go this year because of the chlorine.

My folks are always arguing - am I left handed or right handed? Here I am sucking my right thumb. Mom's going to tease dad about this one all week!

Dad and I like to spend time dancing on the couch. As you can see, I've got no problems keeping my head up, and as long as dad supports my arms, I wont fall down!
