Happy East-over!

We headed down south to visit family for the holiday weekend!  We got down there Thursday night, and went straight to bed.

Friday we got up, had some breakfast, and decided to go see the Easter bunny!  We headed over to the mall, because Mommy & Daddy said he likes to eat lunch at the mall and then see kids.  When he came, we got so excited!  He was waving to us, and we kept waving to him!  Here's our picture:

Then back to the house for naps, playing, and hanging out!  Saturday we got up, had breakfast, played in the yard A LOT!  We were so excited to be able to run around in the grass and dip our toes in the pool!

Then it was time for everyone to come over for Passover seder.  Check out the plates all lined up:

We had a great dinner!  I got to help out with the candle lighting, and the hand washing, and the eating!  It was a really nice night!

Sunday we got up, had breakfast, and heard that the Easter bunny was on his way over!  So we went and hid in our room so he would be able to hide the eggs in the yard.  When we came out, there were baskets, and eggs, candy, toys, so cool!  I taught Penny how to search for Easter eggs!  So much fun!

After the egg hunt was over, we got ready to head home.  We had a nice drive, took naps, and got home to have our Easter dinner of macaroni and cheese and hot dogs!

Congratulations Uncle James & Aunt Annmarie, & Egg Dyeing!

Friday night we went to watch Abby play softball!  She scored two runs, and was catcher for an inning!

Mommy went to Aunt Annmarie's baby shower Saturday.  She made a quilt for Baby Jimmy 5...

Afterwards, we picked her up and headed down to Marie & Olivier's for egg dyeing and a sleepover!

We had soooo much fun making cool eggs!

Check out our creations...Mommy's is the orange and blue one...no surprise there!

Nite-nite Babies...

One of my favorite things to play is "Mommy & Baby" where I put my baby to bed, pat them on the back, etc. - just like at school!

And I even taught my sister!  Check her out, putting her babies "nite-nite!"

Beautiful Day For A Boat Ride!

Yesterday we had a pretty spectacular adventure!  It all started with meeting Abby & Logan at the ferry terminal in Vallejo.  We boarded the big ferry and rode to San Francisco!  The boat was so much fun, the wind in our hair, the sun shining.  We got to sit outside because the weather was so nice!  (Though that didn't keep us from exploring inside.  They have a snack bar!)

We got off the ferry at the Ferry Building in the City.  Oh my goodness...so many treats there!  We saw a cheese store, chocolate store, bakeries, and restaurants.  I enjoyed a cinnamon bun, Penny had part of a donut.  After a little more browsing, we boarded up in our strollers and headed down to the Fisherman's wharf.

There were birds flying, silver people dancing, and the best part of all?  The funny sea lions!  We watched them wrestle, and bark, and push each other, and bark some more!  Hysterical!  They don't like it when a sea lion who's been swimming (and is all wet) jumps up on the nice warm, dry ones!

After that, we got hungry, so we had lunch at Riptides.  Then we explored the pier, hit the candy shop, rode the merry-go-round.  We walked down to check out Boudin's (sourdough place) and then got back in our strollers.  All that exploring made us tired!  We all took naps while our parents pushed us back to the Ferry Building.

But we woke up to get to pick our favorite treat before heading home!  Penny, Abby, & Logan had gelato.  I had some chocolate bunnies.  I think the moms and dads had gelato too.  Mommy got us some fresh cottage cheese to have as a snack on the ride home, and it was fabulous!  We all dug into it!

We all went back to our house for dinner and cookies.  What a perfect day!
