Camping + Birthday = Super Fun Weekend!

This weekend we had our first camping trip of the season! Well, sort of (see our other post about the Explorer and trailer). Here I am with Grandma & Grandpa, baking some banana bread and a pink princess cake!

Even if our trailer was broken, we still made it out to have fun! Check us out in the hammock! (Me, Abby, Ella, Kristopher, & Logan.)

Penny loved it too! Look how cute she is in the big camp chair!

Friday night Daddy & I spent the night. Saturday morning Mommy brought out some balloons and a cake for me, since it was my birthday! We all decorated it together...

We roasted marshmallows, ate s'mores, watched a movie projected onto the night-night trailer, chased turkeys. And with Grandma & Grandpa there, we couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

Poor Explorer...

Well tonight was not a great night for our household. Mommy & Daddy had just left for the night when we hear a giant "CRASH!" outside! Cody started barking, Grandpa ran outside, and a minivan was trying to drive down the street without a tire! They hit Mommy's Explorer! Turns out they hit the night-night trailer we borrowed too! Good thing her tire came off, because Grandpa almost had to chase her down the street! Here are a couple pics...

She pushed it up onto the sidewalk! And she says she was going the speed limit...

A tow truck had to come move the Explorer off the road. Here are Amelia & Grandma watching the tow truck...(Grandpa was carrying me around.)

So they picked up the Explorer, now we just have to wait and see what they're going to do with it!

Super Cool Present!

Thank you Aunty Katy & Uncle Eddie!

Third Birthday Party!

Saturday we celebrated my third birthday! It's a little early, but I say we can celebrate my birthday for a week every year!

Grandpa flew in on Friday. (Grandma has been here for a week and a half.) I love having them here! Friday night was spent getting ready for the party. Check out what Mommy & Grandma were up to:

When I woke up Saturday morning, Grandpa & I went to the park to play for a while. Then it was time for lunch, nap, and PARTY! So many of my friends were there! Even friends from school! It was a blast! We went on rides, played games, ate cupcakes!

After the party we had a BBQ at the house. Grandpa grilled and Grandma made her famous potato salad. It was a great party!

I love music...

So does Grandpa! Here we are playing some music together...(me on piano, Grandpa on harmonica. I think Cody likes music too.)

Weekend In Town...

Thank goodness! We actually had a weekend at home. Friday night we went over to Abby & Logan's house for dinner. Saturday Mommy, Grandma, Amelia, & I ventured out to the Berkeley Farmer's Market. It was pretty cool, lots of neat stuff! Well, that's what they all said at least. We came home with a few fun purchases!

Saturday night Mommy & Daddy went out on a date. Amelia & I stayed home with Grandma. We had a fun time! Dinner, cuddle, movie. Doesn't get better than that!

My First Solids!

Tonight I had my first taste of solid food! Daddy fed me rice cereal, and wow, it was different!

Tasting it...

Amelia said I was making funny faces!

Happy Birthday Logan & Happy Mother's Day!

This was a busy weekend! Friday night we went over to Abby & Logan's house to help get ready for Logan's birthday party. The mommies decorated some super special cake for the party. Then it was time to head home to get some rest.

Saturday morning Mommy, Penny, & I took a long walk in the morning, then headed over to Logan's party. Happy 3rd birthday, Logan! We had a great time at the Lightning McQueen party!

Today we went with all of our friends to Gilroy Gardens to celebrate Mother's Day! It was us, the Stofers, the Tellezes, the Lefevres, and the Hardings. Wow! What a crowd! We had a blast, riding all the rides and running around together, even if we did get rained on most of the time!

After all the rain and stuff, we headed back to Marie & Olivier's house to warm up. The girls played dress up, the boys did their thing. Love you Mommy!

Gymnastics Class!

I started gymnastics classes today! I love them! My coach says I am super good for just starting. Check out these videos...

Disneyland 2010!

This weekend we traveled down to Sarah's house to go on our annual trip to Disneyland! What a blast! We flew down Friday after school and Uncle Chris picked us up. Then we picked up some Chick-Fil-A (yay!) for dinner. We had dinner then went to a super cool park near their house. There was even a zip line! Mommy helped Amelia on it. We went back to the house to get a good night's sleep before the big day.

We started out bright and early at the park. Our first order of business was to ride Finding Nemo, since Amelia loves Nemo! Then we hit It's A Small World, Dumbo, the teacups, and the carousel. Whew! What a morning! We took a break for lunch...

After lunch, it was nap time. We decided to walk over to California Adventure. We all took naps, and the grown ups went on the roller coaster there. (Glad to skip out on that one!) Everyone rode some more rides, had some ice cream, and spent a lot of time in Bug's Land, made just for little kids like us! Then we headed to Downtown Disney for dinner. We had dinner at a cool italian restaurant. The best part was the balloon twister that made wings and crowns for Amelia & Sarah! We were so exhausted after that, it was time to head home!

Sunday we had breakfast, hung out a bit, and headed to the airport. It was such a great trip! Thank you Sarah, Auntie Lori, & Uncle Chris!
