Stay-cation Week!

This week we had a "stay-cation" with Mommy!  It was such a blast!  We played and played and played, took long walks together, and just enjoyed each other!  We set up a train in the living room...

Same Dresses!

These dresses have been hanging in my closet for a LONG time now, and I've been begging Mommy to let us wear them!  Finally!  Finally, we got to wear them to Christmas dinner!  How cute are we?  We totally match Mommy and Aunty Katy in them (although we don't have the bangs they had)!

Christmas Day!

Merry Christmas!  We woke up Christmas morning, and there were so many surprises!  The stockings were filled, there were all kinds of presents under the tree, and Uncle Barry & Aunt Nancy were there!  So exciting!  We got busy unwrapping presents, and got so much cool stuff!  Then it was time for breakfast, yummy scones!  Cousin Erin came too, and we had a great time hanging out and playing!

We headed down to Marie & Olivier's house for Christmas dinner.  There were more presents to unwrap, and more fun to be had!  Their grandparents were visiting from France, and their local grandparents, and Aunt Beepers.  We had a great time!

Christmas Eve...

So the preparations are just about complete, we got ready for Santa tonight!

We made reindeer food, which was pretzels, oats, and sprinkles.

And we shook it all up...

Then we sprinkled it in the front yard so Santa's reindeer could munch while he stopped at our house!

We were invited to Abby & Logan's grandparents for Christmas Eve, which was super nice of them.  We love going there each year!  We ate yummy dinner, and dessert, and opened presents!

Abby got a Sleeping Beauty dress, just like my Cinderella dress!  (Thank you Grandma!)

Uncle Jason pulled up a map that showed us where Santa was during the night.  We saw him when he was in Florida, at Aunty Katy & Uncle Eddie's house!

Time to get home and to bed so Santa can come!

Bring On The Holidays...

Our holiday celebration weeks have begun!  This weekend Mommy & Daddy went to Daddy's firm's annual Christmas Party, which meant Penny and I had our first sleepover at a friend's house!  We slept over at Abby & Logan's!  We had a lot of fun, decorating gingerbread men and playing games.  Mommy and Daddy had a great time at the party with Daddy's coworkers.  I hear they even got to go wine tasting - whatever that is.

Sunday we headed out to Kristopher, Ella, & Charlotte's house for the holiday brunch.  We all exchanged presents, ate some yummy pancakes, and enjoyed spending time together!

Way To Go Daddy!

Daddy made Mommy a super cool birthday present!  Now we all know how much they like to watch cooking reality shows, like Top Chef, and how much they like to eat.  Oh, and how much Mommy loves to cook.  Well Daddy built Mommy something called a "sous vide" setup.  Not exactly sure what it is, but I heard it makes tasty stuff!  I can't wait to try something!

Getting Ready For Santa!

We're decking the halls, trimming the tree, all that good stuff!  It all started with moving the bean bag over in the corner.  The doggies and I love it there!  We can look out the window!

Mommy, Daddy, and Big Sister put up and decorated our beautiful Christmas tree.  I love the lights!

The finished decorations...our stockings hung with care, oh, and our bouncey donkey:) We're ready for you Santa!

Happy 6th Birthday Marie!

This weekend was Marie's birthday party at a place called Safari Run!  What a blast!  There was a giant climbing structure, super fast slides, and an arcade.  Mommy & Daddy even got to play!

Marie had a giant cookie for a cake!  Beepers made it, and it was tasty!

Then we went back to their house to hang out and celebrate some more.  Here we are playing Mouse Trap with their grandparents, Mami, Papy, and Nana.

And look, I wrote my name ALL BY MYSELF!  I surprised Mommy & Daddy with it!

Chag Samech! (Happy Chanukah!)

Tonight was the first night of Chanukah!  We celebrated by lighting candles!  I learned all about it!  Daddy even let me light them.  I took the first candle, and "put a little bit" on the other candle!  Then Daddy sang some songs and we let the candles burn down.  Super cool!  Abby & Logan even came to celebrate!

I even got to open some presents from Grandma Suzi & Grandpa Stan.  I got the coolest laser dreidel!  I took it to school for share day and everybody loved it!

And I got these cool hand puppet tattoos, love them!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This weekend we started what we think is a new annual tradition for us!  We headed down to Sarah's house for Thanksgiving!  We decided to switch things up a bit, and headed to Disneyland for Thanksgiving Day!  We had so much fun!  The park is all decorated for Christmas, it's so beautiful!  We rode our favorite ride - It's a Small World, and Penny loved it so much!  Plus the music was all different for the holidays!

I got to experience something all new...I met some of the princesses!  They are even more beautiful in person!  I didn't get to meet my favorite princess, Cinderella, because she was resting in her bedroom.  But I did get to meet a few others!  I saw her later in the parade, which was super cool!  We enjoyed some hot chocolate.  We watched the fireworks.  Well, I think Penny was the only one still awake (of us kids) for fireworks.  (She took a late nap.)  But Daddy took some amazing pictures of the fireworks!  A fantastic day!

Then Friday Mommy and Auntie Lori baked our turkey.  Sarah, Penny, and I just played and played all day.  We got our kids' table all set up, complete with turkey hats!  Dinner was yummy, the cornbread was the best!

Saturday we went to the park, played some more, and then headed home Sunday.  What a great trip

Almost Thanksgiving & Happy Birthday Brett!

This weekend began our eating fest!  We had our annual "Almost Thanksgiving" dinner at Marie & Olivier's house.  We had such a great time eating, and eating, and crafting, and playing.  We even got to spend the night!

The next morning we had amazing breakfast, Beepers makes the best pancakes!  Then it was off to Brett's birthday party!  He and Penny had such a great time together.  They really liked beating up the big balloon!  Oh, and they had AMAZING cupcakes!

Penny's First Birthday Celebration

Wow, what a birthday celebration!  It's really been a weekend-long event!  It started off with the celebration at school with my friends.  Grandpa even flew in especially for it!  Here we are, digging into (sort of) cupcakes at school:

Then we went to Claim Jumper (where Amelia celebrated her first birthday 2 1/2 years ago!) for dinner.  Another cupcake!

And here I am, "walking" with Grandpa!

Friday we had a blast!  Well, that is, after I had my one-year checkup and shots at the doctor. :(  We met Abby & Aunty Ginny down at Fisherman's Wharf for a fun day!  It was me, Big Sister, Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, & Grandpa Stan.  We had lunch at Mommy & Daddy's favorite clam chowder place.  Then down to watch the goofy sea lions!  I've never seen them!  What a crazy bunch!

Then Abby, Amelia, Daddy, and Grandpa Stan rode the merry-go-round.  Then we went to Ghiradelli to have giant sundaes!  It was a blast, but so exhausting...

Then it was time to go back to the house to meet up with Grandma Suzi and Uncle Jason.  It was dinner time, then party preparation time!  Then bed time, to rest up for the big day!

We got up, had some breakfast, and played, played, played!  The napped, napped, napped, and it was time to PARTY!  The horsey and petting zoo arrived, and we loved it!  There was a bounce house, barnyard animal cupcakes, and all of my friends and family!  What a great party!
