BBQ At Brett's House!

Today we went over to Brett's house for a BBQ.  So much fun!  Our favorite part was mini ice cream cones and running around in the backyard!

Oh and spotting airplanes and birdies!

Happy Birthday Abby!

This weekend was Abby's birthday party!  We spent Friday night over at their house, and Mommy helped Aunty Ginny put Abby's beautiful princess cake together!  Check it out!

We all wore our princess clothes!  Abby borrowed one of my fancy Cinderella dresses, I wore my current favorite - Rapunzel, and Penny wore her Sleeping Beauty overalls.  All made by Grandma!  Thank you Grandma!

We had so much fun just running around the playground.  Great time!

Back at the house, we had a lot of fun.  Ate some food, danced...check out Penny & Logan dancing!

I Love Phonics!

Miss Chrystie is our Learning Adventures teacher at school, and I love her!  She knows great songs, makes up great stories, teaches us how to dance. She also teaches my phonics class.  Check out my latest report!

Happy Father's Day Daddy!

Today was a fantastic father's day, if I don't say so myself!  It started off with yummy breakfast, made by Mommy...

Then off to the King of the County BBQ in downtown Martinez!  We met Abby & Logan down there. We rode some rides, ate some BBQ (Penny tried and LOVED ribs!), and shopped around a little bit.  There was a reptile guy there with a couple snakes and tortoises, almost like being at Gatorland!

After the BBQ, we took Daddy to his surprise destination...the Apple Store!  For what, you ask?  A new laptop, picked out by him on the spot.  Mommy said it's been way too long and our computer is way too old, or something, so he was pretty happy:)  Uncle Steph came along, so he and Daddy had a blast:)

Visit with Aunty Illy & Uncle Beav! And Welcome Baby Jimmy!

Aunty Illy & Uncle Beav came to visit!  They flew in Wednesday night, so when we woke up Thursday morning they were here!  We went to school that day while the grown ups went somewhere to wine taste.  (Glad we didn't have to go!)  But they came back and picked us up, and took us to swim lessons. Aunty Illy even got to come swimming with me!

Friday we went into San Francisco for the day.  So much fun, and such a great day!  We started off with lunch at a pizza place near the wharf.  Then we went and rode the cable car, first time ever!  We had such a blast!  We saw all kinds of people performing on the street, cool houses, and Lombard Street!  So crooked!  After the cable car ride it was off to Ghiradelli Square for ice cream.  So yummy!  Then everyone (except Mommy, who drove) fell asleep in the car on the way home!

Friday was exciting for another reason - Uncle James & Aunt Annmarie had their baby!  Jimmy arrived and is doing great!  Can't wait to meet him!

Saturday Daddy & Uncle Beav went golfing while the girls hung out.  We had fun girls' time:)  Then Aunty Illy & Uncle Beav had to leave:(  But we had so much fun with them here!

A Camping We Did Go!

This weekend we had our first camping trip to New Brighton State Beach!  We headed out Thursday afternoon with the Tellez Family.  We got to the campsite, got all set up, had some marshmallows:)  And went to sleep.

Friday morning Abby & Logan stopped by to visit!  After lunch, we headed down to Capitola to explore.  We've never been there before.  What a cute little town!  We met up with Mommy's friend from high school, Monica, and had ice cream.  Super yummy (super messy) cones!  Then we walked around a little more before heading back to the campsite.  

The rest of our crowd starting trickling in over the course of the evening.  Charity came out, and her sister brought her family and the cutest little doggie!  Amelia had so much fun walking the puppy and playing with her.  We had dinner, and s'mores, and then hit the pillow!

Saturday morning was beach day!  We all packed up and headed down there.  What a blast!  I played bocce ball with Daddy and the boys.  Amelia had a blast playing this game where she ran in and out of the waves with Charity, then with Mommy, and with Joy.  We found shells, crabs, played with the puppy, dug in the sand, had lunch.  Daddy & I headed back for a nap after lunch.  Mommy & Amelia built a sand alligator!  

Then Marie & Olivier came out to visit!  We all played games together, had dinner, and then went to watch a group of polynesian dancers perform.  So cool!  We got to get up and stage and dance with them!  (Well, Amelia did.  I stayed back with Mommy.)  Then back to the campsite for s'mores and bedtime!

Sunday morning was breakfast and pack up time.  What a fantastic trip!

4-Year & 18-Month Checkups!

Today we had our 4-year and 18-month checkups, and everything is great!  I am 42" tall and 40 pounds, which puts me in the 88th percentile for height and 83rd percentile for weight!

Penny is now 33" tall, 24 1/2 lbs, and her head is almost 19" around.  That puts her in the 80th percentile for height, 48th percentile for weight, and 76th percentile for head circumferance.

Our doctor was super happy with everything!  We did have to get some shots though:(  Not fun!
