Red Carpet Weekend

We had a nice weekend.  Marie & Olivier slept over, and then we had an impromptu Oscar party.  Which was really more of us kids making a big mess upstairs, the moms drinking some sort of bubbly drinks, and the dads making pizzas!  It was a great weekend!

Our "italian" daddies... they kept saying things like "prego, prego" and "fuhget about it!"

Beach Trip!

This weekend we made a trip down to the beach to visit with our family!  We had a bit of a scary drive down there, though.  We took a new route which led us over a mountain.  A very snowy mountain...and of course, this was the trip we decided to take Daddy's [non-4-wheel-drive] car!  But we made it, phew!

That night we had dinner, took it easy.  Saturday Sarah, Aunt Lori, & Uncle Chris came to visit!  We made sock puppets, played outside, had a great time!  That evening Cousin Heather came over and spent the night. We had a lot of fun playing "Jailbreak!"  There was a tornado warning that night though!  Aunt Nancy prepped the closet (with stocks of water) in case we had to hide out!

Sunday was a party at the house, with more cousins, and Uncle Craig and Aunt Margie coming to visit.  And the weather finally shaped up!  We had a ton of fun playing in the sun and sand!

Monday morning we got up and had breakfast, then headed home.  Thank you so much for the fun weekend, family! :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a Happy Valentine's dinner!  Followed by red velvet napoleons...(that's Daddy's wine in the picture, not mine!)

Grandpa Stan joined us!  He was in town teaching a class, and had dinner with us!  He read some books to me...

Daddy brought home some beautiful roses for us girls!

Valentine's Day Projects

We decided to do some finger painting to make projects for everyone.  It started out like this:

And ended up like this!

Thank goodness it was washable paint!  The bath water turned purple when we dropped in it!  And Mommy was shocked when all the paint came out of our clothes....phew!

Daddy put his valentine card up at work - and everyone keeps complimenting him on it!

Happy First Birthday Charlotte!

Saturday we went and helped my BFF Charlotte celebrate her first birthday!  What a great time!  The weather was perfect and we got to play outside pretty much the whole time.  Driving cars, a pinata, cake and ice cream!  Perfect party!  Happy Birthday Charlotte!  Don't worry, we're getting older, but one isn't quite over the hill.

Just Another Friday Night At Home...

Tonight Daddy went to play poker with his friends, so us kids stayed home with Mommy and Aunty Ginny.  We had a yummy dinner and made homemade mint chocolate chip ice cream!  I LOVED IT!  Check us out...

Afterwards, Abby read some stories to everyone...

Saturday morning, Mommy & Amelia baked mini doughnuts!

Are You Ready For Some Football?

Saturday was Mommy & Daddy's anniversary!  They got married six years ago!  Way before Amelia & I were born!  We went over to Abby & Logan's house so they could go out to dinner and see a movie.

Go Packers!  We went Sunday to watch the Super Bowl over at Abby & Logan's house.  Daddy wore his Wisconsin/Packer-ish shirt...

I sat on the cheesehead...

And we had a great time!  There were football cake pops, a piñata, mac n cheese...doesn't get much better than that!
