A Camping We Did Go!

This weekend we had our first camping trip to New Brighton State Beach!  We headed out Thursday afternoon with the Tellez Family.  We got to the campsite, got all set up, had some marshmallows:)  And went to sleep.

Friday morning Abby & Logan stopped by to visit!  After lunch, we headed down to Capitola to explore.  We've never been there before.  What a cute little town!  We met up with Mommy's friend from high school, Monica, and had ice cream.  Super yummy (super messy) cones!  Then we walked around a little more before heading back to the campsite.  

The rest of our crowd starting trickling in over the course of the evening.  Charity came out, and her sister brought her family and the cutest little doggie!  Amelia had so much fun walking the puppy and playing with her.  We had dinner, and s'mores, and then hit the pillow!

Saturday morning was beach day!  We all packed up and headed down there.  What a blast!  I played bocce ball with Daddy and the boys.  Amelia had a blast playing this game where she ran in and out of the waves with Charity, then with Mommy, and with Joy.  We found shells, crabs, played with the puppy, dug in the sand, had lunch.  Daddy & I headed back for a nap after lunch.  Mommy & Amelia built a sand alligator!  

Then Marie & Olivier came out to visit!  We all played games together, had dinner, and then went to watch a group of polynesian dancers perform.  So cool!  We got to get up and stage and dance with them!  (Well, Amelia did.  I stayed back with Mommy.)  Then back to the campsite for s'mores and bedtime!

Sunday morning was breakfast and pack up time.  What a fantastic trip!

Whirlwind Weekend

So this was a crazy weekend.  It started with Aunt Sher-Bear and her friend Scooby visiting for an evening.  We went over to Abby & Logan's house for the evening while Mommy & Daddy went out to dinner with them.  Some place called The Stinking Rose in San Francisco. 

Friday night we got ready for our crazy weekend!  It started off with swim class in the morning.  Then we stopped for lunch and headed out for Oroville.  Kristopher, Ella, & Charlotte were camping up there.  They were camping near their cousins who had a boat!  We got to go boating!  It was sooo fun!  We rode out to the lake and found a shoreline to play on.  What a great day!

Sunday morning we got up early and headed back for Aurora's birthday party.  It was at Build-A-Bear and was followed by cupcakes by the fountain.  What a great time!

Camping on the Delta

Had another fun camping trip this weekend! We headed out to the delta, which meant we didn't have to go very far! Yay! We had a lot of fun taking the doggies swimming - we didn't even know if Cody liked to swim! But he did! Then we went swimming and played in the "delta mud" and found shells and clams.

4th of July Camping Trip!

We went down to Santa Margarita - and visited Pismo Beach during the day. Kristopher, Ella, and Sarah all came with us. It was a great trip!

We saw some cool animals at the campground. There were lots of skunks that came out at night (but did not spray anybody). We also saw a bear climb into someone's truck! Apparently, he really likes doughnuts, and one of the other campers left some in his back seat. Daddy got close and took some pictures and videos - I stayed waaaaay back.

All in all another great camping trip. Happy Birthday, America!

Twain Harte, Camping Trip #2

What a weekend! We managed to get all of us into Mommy's car and headed out for Twain Harte! The drive was kind of boring, so I slept:) I think Mommy did too! We got out there in the afternoon, checked Grandma, Auntie Chrissie, and Cousin Emmy into the hotel. Then we headed over to the campgrounds to check out our site! Kristopher & Ella were there already with their parents, and we set up camp! Abby and her mommy came a little later. Then it was time for dinner, smores, and bed!

Saturday morning we had some yummy breakfast, care of Grandma, and decided to go explore the train museum in Jamestown. Super cool! They had real trains to ride on, a band, a huge barn full of old trains, and a round house, which is really round! Afterwards we walked around downtown Jamestown, and I took a nap:) But I heard some shopping happened!

Saturday night we had our shrimp boil and played around camp. Then we had cake and ice cream for Emmy's birthday! Happy Birthday Emmy! I decided to go to bed while everyone sat around the fire.

Sunday we were up and going early, headed for a big adventure. We went to the Moaning Caverns to go zip lining! Well, some of us went zip lining:) Up first were Daddy, Jacob, Emmy, Aunty Kat, Uncle Jim, & Kristopher! Yes, Kristopher! He went with Uncle Jim. They loved it! We watched them and cheered and it was cool! Then we had some picnic lunch, and they went again! This time even Ella went along! Daddy and Emmy went "superhero style" - where they went down on their bellies! So cool! Maybe I'll be up for it, down the road...I took a nap with Mommy, Auntie Chrissie, and Grandma back at the picnic area.

Afterwards we went back to the campgrounds for some swimming and then dinner and smores. Man, were they good! All this time I have not tried them. Now I know what everyone was talking about!

Monday after breakfast we did a little more swimming, then hit the road. It was a great weekend!

Camping Time Is Here!

Camping season is officially open! We met Kristopher & Ella and Abby & Logan at Lake Chabot for our first trip of the season. We had a blast! Hiking, bubbles, yummy food, campfires, all the good stuff!





Cody even came along! He had a lot of fun playing with the other doggies. But it was super hot! I sure enjoyed my nap in the trailer in the air conditioning:) We made ice cream for the first time! Aunty Ginny brought along all the fixings, and our parents took turns shaking it up to make it for us. I am definitely looking forward to a whole summer of this!

Beach Camping

We had a fabulous weekend! We met Kristopher & Ella and Alyssa & Amanda at Dillon Beach to camp for the weekend. We got out there just in time for dinner and s'mores. Joy & Sam came out later, I was ready for bed by the time they arrived!

Saturday morning we got up and had some breakfast, then went for a walk on the beach! I rode in a backpack on Mommy's back, and just couldn't stay awake. When I woke up we played in the sand and found some crabs! Check them out:

The water was pretty cold, so we didn't go in. We just got good and dirty in the sand!

Afterwards we went back to the campsite to play. I found this really cool necklace to wear. I even tried to put it on Harley boy, but it looked better on a girl:)

The parents all played some bocce ball, cooked some food. Marie & Olivier joined us at the campsite! Then it was time for the shrimp boil, yum!

The campsite didn't have electricity, so that meant no drive-in-walk-up movie theater. But Marie did bring her dvd player, so we were able to watch a flick. We had s'mores, hung by the fire. By then I was ready for bed...

Sunday we had some chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, thanks Beepers! We took another walk to the beach. I took another nap in the backpack. Everyone else played in the water, and got all wet! On the way back, everyone rolled down the sand dune and got covered in sand! After a quick rinse at the trailer, we packed up and headed out for lunch. We went to get some lunch and then headed home.

We spent the rest of the day relaxing. Camping is so fun but so exhausting!

Back to school Monday morning. Today we had cupcakes to celebrate my friend Lily's first birthday. This weekend I'm going to her birthday party. I can't wait!

Busy Weekend

What a weekend! First, I had my very first swimming lessons. I liked the water, and I liked the games our class played. I'm still not sure about this kicking and rowing thing, but I don't mind hanging out in the water.

Next, we went to Logan's first birthday party. As you can see, he was really ready to party. I also learned about carpooling - we did our part to save the planet.

Then we went camping with Christopher and Ella in Pescadero. I love the outdoors, and of course the Tellez trailer makes the outdoors that much more comfortable. Check out Daddy in my built-in crib!

Finally, for Mother's day we went to Gilroy Gardens with Marie and Olivier. They have all these great rides made just for kids my age. Plus, I tried ice cream for the first time - it was awesome!

And of course, it was my first Mother's day (and Mommy's first too)! I even made her a special card to celebrate (with some help from my teachers). As you can see in these pictures, my Mommy and I had a great first Mother's day together.

Another fun weekend with my buddies!

Another chill weekend, just hanging with my buddies. We went to Logan and Abby's on Friday, then we went to visit Kristopher and Ella on their camping trip in Petaluma on Saturday.

Here we are in Petaluma! They had a cool swing right next to the camp fire. My folks tell me that someday, when I can eat s'mores, I'll enjoy camping even more.

I can't remember: was Kris giving me a kiss or telling me a secret? You be the judge.

Sunday we took it easy, I took a nice nap with Daddy, then we went out and did some errands. It was nice to just hang out with Mommy and Daddy and play!

Did I tell you? I got another tooth, #3! It's on the top, it started coming in a couple weeks ago. Not too bad!
