Merry Christmas from Kauai!

So we've been here in Hawaii for a couple of days now, and I'm finally getting a chance to use the computer. We flew out to meet the Lefevres on Tuesday (along with Beeper's mom). We're staying in a condo on the beach- right next door to Marie and Olivier's place! We've been hanging out a lot, hitting the beach, and exploring the rain forests and canyons of this amazing island.

Here we are looking at the Kalalau Valley (man these words are hard to say - I guess they only have twelve letters or so, so you need a lot of syllables) - 4000 feet up. Daddy says he and Uncle Stephane are going to hang glide off of something like this cliff - but I was content just standing on the edge.

Today Mommy, Daddy and I went on a jungle hike and found this waterfall. The hike itself was pretty tough (I guess - I didn't have any trouble riding in the backpack) since the path was steep and slippery. Mommy and Daddy were covered in red mud at the end of the hike. For once, I was the clean one!

This is the Waimea canyon. I slept for most of the trip around the canyon - but I heard that Mark Twain called this place Hawaii's Grand Canyon.

We all went to the beach on Wednesday. I played in the surf and watched as Marie and Olivier zoomed around on their boogie boards.

Happy Chanukah!

Last night was the second night of Chanukah, so Daddy showed me how we light the candles. Pretty cool!

Sleep over party

This time of year, apparently, both Mommy and Daddy have a lot of work events to attend on the weekends. This week was Daddy's company's party. Kristopher and Ella offered to hang out with me while my folks went out. We watched looney toons and ate popcorn - it was way more fun than going to some stuffy Christmas party.

Annual Tellez Christmas Party

Last weekend was the second annual Christmas party at the Tellez home (at least the second that I've been to). Everyone was there - Sarah even came up from down south to visit.
Here's Sarah in her cool Christmas dress. Sarah, Uncle Chris, and Aunt Lori all stayed at our house this weekend (and Uncle Chris and Aunt Lori hung out with me while my parents went to Mommy's company Christmas party).

Marie's Birthday Party!

Marie just turned 4, and we all went to her gym to celebrate. Four years old already. I can't even imagine what its like to be that old. By the time I'm four, they'll probably have flying cars and robot maids.


All of my friends were there - and we had so much fun. Marie sure does throw a great party!

B&V Family Holiday Party

So my Daddy's office had a family holiday party last week. It was fun - Mom picked me up from school and took me over to Dad's work. There were so many kids I had never met before. I saw that big guy with the beard and the red coat again, and he still creeps me out. Not sure why my folks want me to sit on his knee. At least I got a great new toy - a magna-doodle! Thanks Bowles & Verna!

Miss You Aunty Katy!

Aunty Katy left Sunday:( It was a short trip, but so much fun!

Zoo Trip With Aunty Katy

We had a great trip to the zoo! Aunty Katy was like a personal tour guide, she knew about every animal we saw! Here's a great pic of me, Kristopher, Ella, Olivier, & Marie on a big hippo!



I really liked the bears! They are a lot bigger than my bears, but they sure are cute!

The New Academy Of Sciences

After a great dinner out Friday night, we piled into the car Saturday morning and headed out to the new Academy of Sciences in San Francisco! The place was so cool! We started out in the Africa wing, which ended with the super cool penguins! They were so fun, jumping and swimming all over the place! Then we checked out the bugs, icky! We saw a white alligator and lots and lots of fish! That was the biggest aquarium I've ever seen! We saw the living roof, with actual real grass and plants on it! We ate some lunch and headed over to Marie & Olivier's house.

We watched the Gator game - Go Gators!! SEC champions!! Afterwards we headed down to Santa Cruz to ride the holiday lights train together. It was great, Abby & Logan came along too!
